Projektinformationen

The research project promotes a better understanding of the role of agencies, civil society, the private sector, and formal and informal institutions in water resource management and peacebuilding projects. It takes a long-run, evolutionary perspective to understand the institutional change process in its historical and cultural context in Afghanistan. Therefore, the project explains how actors and rules of water resource management changed over time. The project aims at a more comprehensive understanding of the role of water governance in peacebuilding processes. It will contribute to theory development, close a gap in research relevant to the scientific community, and provide essential insights to development practitioners. The project is worked on by Moshfeq Timory, MA.
