With increasing introduction of novel vaccines challenges for combination also increase with regard to effectiveness, safety and acceptability. New bio-informatics approaches validated by epidemiological and molecular methods shall contribute to individualized vaccine recommendations. For this purpose the Centre for Individualized In Infection Medicine (CIIM) unites researchers from the German National Cohort (NAKO Gesundheitsstudie), the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI), the Hannover Medical School (MHH) and the Ostfalia, to generate multidimensional data from molecular and epidemiological research for combines analysis.
