In the extension period of the project, the researchers intend to record and edit for the first time the Georgian palimpsests of the Iviron Monastery on Mt. Athos. Since the exact amount of palimpsest pages in the holdings of the Athos monastery is still unknown, this presupposes a complete digital recording and cataloguing of the total of ca. 90 Georgian manuscripts of the monastery, which is to be carried out in cooperation with the librarian of the monastery.
