Projektinformationen

The etablishment of a material and welding orientated junior research group "Metal Technology in Kyrgyzstan" is the goal of this project headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. T. Ryspaev from KTU (Kyrgyz Technical University). Prof. Ryspaev is a former postdoctoral research associate of TUC (Technical University of Clausthal) and has worked for more than 10 years on the topic of welding and material sciences. After his return to KTU he was named dean of the German-Kyrgys technical Faculty. The scientific foci commonly de-fined by the project partners are investigations of nano- and microstructures of light metal alloys, joining of aluminum alloys and the regeneration of weared components. Most of the work is done at KTU by three Kyrgyz postgraduate students who will spend several months at TUC as well.
