Projektinformationen
The project aims at assessing the regional variation of the impact of global climate warming on forest productivity, forest regeneration, and tree mortality in eastern Central Asia covering a distance of 2500 km in west-east direction ranging from Kyrgyzstan via eastern Kazakhstan to Mongolia. Apart from the scientific progress, the key objective of the project is to provide information that will help forest authorities and restoration projects to cope with the increased pressure on Central Asia's forests by climate warming.
