Projektinformationen

05.07.23-07.07.23 in Hannover ----- Research into the neural correlates of cognition, emotion, and behavior greatly expanded our understanding of how people experience their social environment. Now is the time to move from one-person to two-person neuroscience by focusing on interpersonal neural dependencies. New technical developments, especially in the field of computation, have recently made such investigations on neural synchronization and information flow between interacting brains possible. We believe that it is time to pool the existing knowledge on this topic to jointly advance the field. Therefore, we plan to host a Scoping Workshop on hyperscanning. Our goal is to bring together world leading experts to discuss the current state of research on paradigms, algorithms, and applications, and define future lines of development. We discuss joint collaborations and recommendations for funding agencies and conclude the Scoping Workshop with an outline for an opinion paper that will be written by all participants in the following months.
